The Founder of Aikido, Morihei Ueshiba(1883-1969)was born on 14th December, 16th year of Meiji in Tanabe, Wakayama Prefecture.  As a child, Morihei Ueshiba had a weak body.  After mastering many kinds of martial arts, the Founder borne Aikido, deceased at the age of 86.  Following the death of the Founder, Kishomaru Ueshiba(1921-1999) was appointed the Second Doshu on 26th April, 44th year of Showa.  Kisshomaru Ueshiba Doshu opened the door of Aikido to the world. After the death of Kisshomaru Ueshiba Doshu, the line was passed on to the Third Doshu, Moriteru Ueshiba(1951- ) on 4th January, 11th year Heisei.
