Yamada Jun Shihan was sent by the Aikikai Foundation and Aikido World Headquarters to Malaysia with the blessings of
the second-generation Doshu, Kisshomaru Ueshiba in 1971.  Yamada Shihan started teaching at Rumah Sarawak, the official residence
of the former Chief Minister of Sarawak, Tun Abdul Rahman Yaacob.
Now, Shihan continues developing Aikido in Kuala Lumpur. Academy Aikido Jyuku is now the official name of the organization.
In October 2012, Shihan celebrated his 40th anniversary of Aikido in Malaysia.

Jun Yamada Shihan 40th Anniversary Seminar, held in October 2012, was sponsored by Japan Information Service of the Japan Embassy in Malaysia and Japan Foundation Kuala Lumpur.

Aikido is the art of assimilation and unification according to the way of
chivalrous spiritual harmony. Therefore there are no duels, no struggles and no opponents.
There is only harmonious action of one's spirit with the universe.
